SnapsNote ("we", "the app") helps you save personal links and notes. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account: your email address (via Supabase Auth magic link or OAuth).
• Vault content: notes, URLs, tags, link previews (title, description, image), and — on Pro — readable page text copies you save.
• Billing: if you upgrade, Stripe processes payment. We store your plan and Stripe customer/subscription ids — not full card numbers.
• API tokens: hashed personal tokens you create for the API or extension (we never store the raw secret after creation).
• Technical: standard server logs (IP, user agent) for security and reliability.

How we use data

We use your data only to provide the vault, authenticate you, generate link previews from pages you save, process billing, keep the service secure, and respond to support requests. We do not train AI models on your saves.

Google sign-in

If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address, name and profile picture with us. We use only your email address, to create and identify your account. Supabase, our authentication provider, stores your name and picture with your login record, but SnapsNote doesn't display, use or share them. We don't request access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or any other Google data.

SnapsNote's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Third parties

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Render — application hosting
• Stripe — subscription and one-time payments when you upgrade

Link previews and page copies are fetched by our own servers from the URLs you save (with safety checks). We do not use Microlink by default.

Retention and deletion

You can export or delete your vault data from Settings. Deleting your account removes your items and related profile data. Delete means delete — when a service role key is configured, your auth user is removed as well.
